blog, ramblings, thoughts, future plans and progress for a digital family tree

Numunu is the word we call ourselves, human beings, the people, Comanche. Established in February of 2022, I am embarking on a mission to catalog and animate the family lineage of Wis-sis-che. One of the last leaders of the Comanche band of Quahadas. I am using this site to catalog my adventures through this Digital Humanities-based Rhetoric Dissertation project. In my posts, you will find my successes and complications in trying out different software options. For the next several weeks, you can also read about my findings on the complexity of the ethics of digitizing cultural knowledge and the Rhetoric of reciprocity through my Cultural Heritage Data and Social Engagement 2022 page (linked to the right).
